Commercial and industrial waste

Producers of commercial municipal waste must recycle it themselves or engage a suitable disposal company to do this on their behalf. Producers of commercial municipal waste and of construction or demolition waste are required to keep certain parts of the waste separate and to recycle it or to collect it as a mix and pretreat it through subsequent sorting so that it is recycled as efficiently as possible. If they are not in a position to do so, they must hand over the waste to local authority waste disposal services as waste for disposal.
