We take pride in our channels on social media platforms and enjoy seeing your comments and questions – whether supportive praise or constructive criticism. To ensure the dialogue is productive and does not cause any distress, everyone must abide by certain rules, just like in a face-to-face conversation.
- Please remain polite and fair in the discussion, even if you disagree with a commentator's opinion. It goes without saying that racist, xenophobic, sexist or offensive content, as well as posts inciting criminal behaviour, are unacceptable and will be deleted by us. The user will be blocked by us. Potentially criminal content will be reported without exception.
- In order not to hinder the discussion, we would request that you refrain from "flooding" or "spamming" the page with a large number of posts and comments within a short period of time. These will be deleted by us, as will advertising, links to commercial offers or posts that disclose private data. Please also refrain from repeatedly publishing posts and comments with the same wording. Give the other contributors in the conversation time to respond. Posts on which the author has commented immediately without other users having yet commented on them will also be deleted.
- The pages on the social media platforms are monitored by the Press and Public Relations Department of the Ministry for the Environment. We will do our best to answer your questions. Unfortunately, we do not manage that in every case. Plus, it can sometimes take a little while for us to reply, as we have to forward complicated questions to specialist departments.
- If the comment or post function does not provide enough characters for a statement, please post a link to the full version of your text. Messages that are spread over several posts will be deleted by us.
- All posts and comments should be related to state politics in Baden-Württemberg or to the topic under discussion. For "private conversations" please use the messenger function or the private noticeboards.
- Multiple postings with the same text will be deleted. If the page is flooded with the same content over and over again, the user will be blocked immediately.
- Conspiracy theories and content trivialising Covid-19 and links to pages with such content will be deleted by us.
- As a government agency, we are obligated to remain impartial. Therefore, election appeals or election campaign material for political parties or interest groups as well as the disparagement of political parties or political agents, calls for demonstrations, rallies, vigils, protests and the like, as well as links or references to petitions, will be deleted by us immediately.
- Links to commercial promotions, such as online shops and advertising, will be deleted by us immediately.
- Links posted without explanatory comment, links to websites that have no legal notice and links to pages with potentially criminal content will be deleted by us.
- We must unfortunately block any users who do not abide by these rules and repeatedly disturb the discussion.
- Any fake user profiles that are active solely on fan pages such as ours will be blocked immediately.
- Remember that the dialogues take place in public. With this in mind, we ask that you refrain from posting contact addresses, telephone numbers or other private information – especially not those of third parties.
You can still contact us if you are not registered with a social media platform. To do this, you can use our contact form on our website.
Please use only secure communication channels (e-mail, contact form, telephone) for enquiries relating to your privacy or the privacy of third parties and never use the public channels for this purpose.
