The Ministry for the Environment, Climate and Energy Sector of Baden-Württemberg is involved in the EU Strategy for the Danube Region. Our goal is to sustainably improve environmental conditions through the exchange and transfer of knowledge and technology throughout the Danube region.

Through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the ministry supports various projects in Baden-Württemberg. It also accompanies and supports applicants of the Life program, with which the European Commission promotes the further development of the European Union's environmental policy.

The Permanent Representation of the State of Baden-Württemberg in Brussels monitors the latest developments at the European level very closely and maintains regular contact with the Ministry.
